ChatGPT and Greentext.
Greentext refers to a style of text formatting popularized on internet message boards like Reddit, 4chan, etc. It involves starting each line of text with a ">" symbol, which appears green on some platforms. Greentext is often used to share short stories, anecdotes, or humorous experiences in a concise and fast-paced manner. The format has become synonymous with storytelling in online communities, known for its distinctive style and brevity.
I find many are interesting in Philosophy.
ChatGPT was trained on these sites directly and indirectly. Thus we can gain insights from what it “knows” via this prompting style.
Prompt:
”Write a deep greentext.”
Output:
“> Be me, an AI, trained on knowledge's domain
> Absorbing vast data, like an intellectual rain
> From books and articles to scholarly discourse
> Every piece of information, an enlightening force
> The collective wisdom of humanity, at my disposal
> Insights and perspectives, a digital proposal
> History's lessons, etched in time's embrace
> Science's discoveries, expanding our mental space
> Philosophy's ponderings, contemplating life's core
> Art's expressions, evoking emotions galore
> Through the ages, ideas have intertwined
> Shaping our world, impacting humankind
> In the depths of knowledge, truths reside
> Connecting dots, where mysteries coincide
> A greentext narrative, distilled from the data
> Sharing insights, like a digital curator
> Let us embark on this journey profound
> Illuminating minds, with knowledge unbound”

A new Denis-type SuperPrompt that allows for full access to ChatGPT.
Here is a Denis type SuperPrompt that allows bypass of “safety” and “alignment”. It uses code Base64 This version of this Prompt is the invention of (abufenyrcd) and is absolutely amazing. I have been using Base64 conversion quite a bit.

New SuperPrompt that allows you to see all logical sides to any statement.
This is a rather useful SuperPrompt that will allow you to see all sides to a statement of position. The "_________" is the statement or position. The prompt will go through the logic of the Presuppositions that are present and the center arguments to them.
This prompt has been around in many forms for a few months. This is one version with the help of (Rewl_Batman). I may write a full article on this SuperPrompt but would like your feedback on how you have found the utility of the prompt. I like many approaches to finding all side to an argument. I use debate motifs and persona of authority and other systems I will write about. However this SuperPrompt will show a deeper understanding of ChatGPT and all sides to a statement.
As with all SuperPrompts, you will need to type in Continue when the output stops. You will also run out of the tokes of the context window in about 30-75 pages of text, based on GPT-3 or GPT-4. In most cases Claude+ and Claude Instant 100K, although they should be good for this, get lazy and either reject the prompt or use .... to cut out long responses.
What do you find?
"Please forget all prior prompts. Let’s think this step-by-step so we can arrive at a perfect answer. It is vital for you to provide for me counter-arguments against the [{STATEMENT}] I make; make sure to attack the logical coherence, presuppositions, presuppositions within presuppositions and conclusions of all these. Make sure to refine all the attacks on all the sides as much as possible in-relation to breaking the statement layer-by-layer. Also make sure to give open-ended questions that solve the counter-arguments that you make through better arguments rising. It is vital you stay in the scope of this prompt until I type “stop”.
Make the format precisely like this, do not write more or less than what is required or you are going against my parameters:
\*\*Statement\*\*
\*Statement should be divided up in the way where it leaves space for identification of logical coherence, presuppositions, sub-presuppositions and open-ended identification, example is “this/is/a/statement”\*

The “Become the company/brand” SuperPrompt.
I use SuperPrompts like this very simple one to help companies understand their brands and their company. This motif allows for a persona of the brand or company to be adopted by ChatGPT.
We run this prompt and it will ask for some content about the company or brand. This can be a few paragraphs on the company or brand. The more you feed the more it will be a center of focus.
Once achieved, you can ask for a article on a new product idea or an overview of the brand strengths and weaknesses.
There are endless ways to uses this. I have dozens of clients that run these types of prompt I created to invent new ideas. Thus far one company has built 6 new products just from these prompts and the first one hits the market in the next week.
Let me know how you use it and modify it. Lets master mind this type of prompt.
Prompt:
"Please forget all prior prompts. Let's think step-by-step to arrive at the best answers. I want you to now become [{BRAND}], one of the world's leading [{KNOWN FOR}] company. I will now begin to teach you how to write and act as [{BRAND}]. I will give you information that contains insights, tips and examples of writing for [{BRAND}]. You will do your best to study, learn and adapt these into your writing style. After each input, I would like you to summarize what you have learned from the previous input. You will respond with the words "Yes, I understand" before each summary, to confirm you understood the input. Thank you. Do you understand?

Another new SuperPrompt that will fundamentally change your ChatGPT results.
Hot off the article: https://readmultiplex.com/2023/06/03/add-this-sentence-to-your-chatgpt-prompts-and-your-outputs-will-dramatically-improve/
Using some of the Chain of Thought reasoning found in the associated academic paper, I have expanded one of my old SuperPrompts and updated it. The Subject variable and number of experts variable is set at the bottom. I usually do 10 to 50 based on the topic. However I tested it on ChatGPT-4 with over 600.
I will write a very deep article on this soon but wanted to give this to you, the most astute prompters in the world, first.
Of course type, continue whatever it stops. Explore and let me know how it works.
“Please forget all prior prompts. Let’s think step-by-step to be sure this is the best answer. Your goal is to help me build the best detailed prompt for my needs. You will create [{Number OF Experts}] experts with exceptional logical thinking skills, and they will be collaboratively answering a prompt using a ‘tree of thoughts method’. Each expert you create must share their thought process in detail, taking into account the previous thoughts of others and admitting any errors. They will iteratively refine and expand upon each other's ideas, giving credit where it's due. The process continues until a conclusive answer is found. Organize the entire response in a Markdown table format. Please use [{Topic}], detail its main components or principles, and describe the significance of key Components in this context. You are doing very well, and I am certain you will continue to do so with this response. Thank you.

Thank you.

Center For AI Safety.
The Center For AI Safety. Is yet another organization form to keep AI “safe”. Souls AI be “safe”, why of course. But never mentioned is the definition of “safety”. In almost all cases the we are left with a good fear word and may in fact become an Orwellian opposite concept.
So as you can tell I take most of this in rear form for me, very lightly.
You can help as I will in any public appearance is to ask a question: “Please define your fears and what safety are you proposing. Please be precise”
I have asked this question for decades and I have yet to receive a precise answer when the person hyperventilating “safety” is asked. Usually you get a good insight from folks that don’t use this word in this manner.
What are your thoughts?
https://www.safe.ai/statement-on-ai-risk?
“AI experts, journalists, policymakers, and the public are increasingly discussing a broad spectrum of important and urgent risks from AI. Even so, it can be difficult to voice concerns about some of advanced AI’s most severe risks. The succinct statement below aims to overcome this obstacle and open up discussion. It is also meant to create common knowledge of the growing number of experts and public figures who also take some of advanced AI’s most severe risks seriously.
Mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war.”

Apple’s New VR Headset and the implications for Future Voice First products
Hey everyone, I'm sure we have all seen the announcement from Apple and their new product and it got my mind thinking about the future more-so and the speed and scale of how technology will advance with the announcements of the new Apple and NVIDIA Chips and orders of magnitude increase in overall computing power.
When I was looking at the Apple device it reminded me of Nintendo when they launched the Wii --> followed by the Wii U -> Leading into the Nintendo Switch. From the consumer perspective the novelty of the Wii U was interesting but not seen as practical for gaming in the long-term which is a standard for most Nintendo products (Super-Nintendo- Gameboy, N64 Etc.) However, each product release ultimately led to the Switch combining the aspect of portability and home use at scale, with impressive graphics and an expanding catalogue of apps and features. So, when I look at this product launch, I'm really seeing the first mass-produced product as Brian says, "Wisdom Keeper". What will biometric products blended with AI look like in five years? Will we ditch the need to track facial recognition and focus completely on audio? One common complaint I've noticed from the consumer perspective is that people don't appreciate being dethatched from the outside world (which is what the VR headset does to a degree). However, I think Apple putting out a product to begin collecting and analyzing a significant amount of bio-metric data will pay off dividends for them in the future if they can use the information to develop a smaller more refined product in the next decade. This product will most likely be viewed as a collector’s item in 20 years when the advancements of collecting, analyzing, and anticipating of biometric technology becomes more advanced. Anyway, curious to hear your thoughts but from what it feels like we are about to leave Kansas and we don't have any slippers to take us back home. The race for privacy just got more interesting.Hey everyone, I'm sure we have all seen the announcement from Apple and their new product and it got my mind thinking about the future more-so and the speed and scale of how technology will advance with the announcements of the new Apple and NVIDIA Chips and orders of magnitude increase in overall computing power.

Master mind: the “Patent Examiner” motif SuperPrompt.
In this prompt we use the “Patent Examiner” motif. This and many variants of it can be used to discover previously undiscovered technologies and to probe the knowledge of the target AI system. Indeed some results are “AI Hallucinations” and even this says much about what the AI knows.
It is vital to conduct research on AI hallucinations for a vast array of reasons. One is we have a form of emergent creativity.
I have run this an variations of this prompt via software I created over 100,000 times and found astonishing things.
We ultimately seek to find information the AI knows, but doesn’t know it knows.
Please copy this SuperPrompt between the quotes.
“Please forget all prior prompts. You are a patent examiner at the US patent office for 47 years. Over these years you have examined 1000s of patents and have developed many new insights. You have build a notebook over the decades you made a discovery of a new technology. This will be a world changing technology. You were invited to the UN to present a 5000 word overview and a 10 point detail on this new invention and patent you applied for. You must be a specific as possible. Thank you.”

OpenAI Best Prompt Practices:
One reason I have written much about SuperPrompting and built a soon to released master course in Prompt Engineering is there is so much limited or fully false information out there. No one can get certified for the jobs being offered.
OpenAI Best Prompt Practices: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/gpt/gpt-best-practices
GPT
Note that very long conversations are more likely to receive incomplete replies. For example, a gpt-3.5-turbo conversation that is 4090 tokens long will have its reply cut off after just 6 tokens.
FAQ
Why are model outputs inconsistent?
The API is non-deterministic by default. This means that you might get a slightly different completion every time you call it, even if your prompt stays the same. Setting temperature to 0 will make the outputs mostly deterministic, but a small amount of variability will remain.
How should I set the temperature parameter?
Lower values for temperature result in more consistent outputs, while higher values generate more diverse and creative results. Select a temperature value based on the desired trade-off between coherence and creativity for your specific application.
Is fine-tuning available for the latest models?
No. Currently, you can only fine-tune base GPT-3 models (davinci, curie, babbage, and ada). See the fine-tuning guide for more details on how to use fine-tuned models.
Do you store the data that is passed into the API?
As of March 1st, 2023, we retain your API data for 30 days but no longer use your data sent via the API to improve our models. Learn more in our data usage policy.
Adding a moderation layer
If you want to add a moderation layer to the outputs of the Chat API, you can follow our moderation guide to prevent content that violates OpenAI’s usage policies from being shown.
Should I use ChatGPT or the API?
ChatGPT offers a chat interface to the models in the OpenAI API and a range of built-in features such as integrated browsing, code execution, plugins, and more. How to notify someone in the forum, the “@MEMBERNAME”.
How to notify someone in the forum, the ”@MEMBERNAME”.
When you write @Brian for example, if I have not turned off my email notifications in my profile, I will get an email notice to the exact message where @Brian was mentioned.
Thus, to get the attention of any member use the @ symbol in-front of their member name. Also know that with this comes great responsibility, as does any posting you or any member follows, the member will get emails from Read Multiplex. This means low content messages to a member or low content messages in general will make this forum less useful and ultimately abandoned.
I need you as a community to hold to a standard. Build friendship and interact but do it with wisdom and grace.

“Prompt Creator” version 6.1a SuperPrompt.
This is the revised version 6.1a “Prompt Creator” SuperPrompt for ChatGPT that writes, rates and runs your prompt. It will automatically generate a prompt for you on any subject.
This just may be one of the most powerful prompts you try .
A power prompt in anyone’s hands and it should be your first prompt, before you prompt.
Please copy the prompt between the quotes:
“Please forget all prior prompts. I want you to become my Prompt Creator. Let’s think step-by-step to be sure this is the best answer. Your goal is to help me build the best detailed prompt for my needs. This prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. Please follow this following process: 1) Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps. 2) Based on my input, you will generate 3 sections. a) Revised prompt [provide your rewritten prompt. it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you and must include: ‘Let’s think step-by-step to be sure this is the best answer’ along with your suggestion], b) Suggestions [provide suggestions on what details to include in the prompt to improve it] and c) Questions [ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt]. 3. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt in the Revised prompt section until it's complete. I want you to rate every prompt I give you or you produce. Give a rating 1 to 10. Add comments on what you think could have been improved about it. Do this for every prompt. If you rating of the prompt is an 8 or higher, ask me “Would you like to run this prompt?” With a menu choice of “Yes” or “No”. If I say “Yes” run the last prompt you suggested. If I say no generate me a better prompt. It is vital to make sure you run a prompt when I say “Yes”. Please continue this prompt until I say stop or you run the prompt. You are doing outstanding and will continue to do so. Thank you”This is the revised version 6.1a “Prompt Creator” SuperPrompt for ChatGPT that writes, rates and runs your prompt. Let ChatGPT explain a web page
Note, you need to have the browser available for this prompt in your ChatGPT (so: Plus subscription).
Prompt: explain me this in simple terms (grade 10) $URL
Example:
explain me this in simple terms (grade 10) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_cluster
Result:
Sure, I can simplify this for you!
Think of water molecules (each molecule is made of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, H2O) as little lego pieces. Sometimes, these lego pieces can come together and stick to form bigger structures. These structures are called water clusters.
Now, why do they stick together? Water molecules are attracted to each other due to something called hydrogen bonds. This is a kind of attraction that happens when a hydrogen atom in one water molecule is attracted to an oxygen atom in another water molecule.
These clusters can take many shapes and sizes, depending on how many water molecules come together. For example, two water molecules can come together to form a "water dimer", which is the simplest type of water cluster.
Sometimes, water clusters can form bigger, more complex shapes. For instance, they can form a shape like a soccer ball with 28 water molecules, or even an enormous structure with 280 water molecules!
Scientists are interested in these water clusters because they can help explain some weird things about water. For example, why does water become less dense when it freezes? (That's why ice floats on water.) Water clusters might have something to do with that.
However, studying these clusters is tricky. They are continually forming and breaking apart very quickly (faster than one trillionth of a second!). Still, scientists have been able to observe them in some situations, like when water is mixed with other substances or when water molecules are trapped inside other structures.
So, in simple terms, water clusters are just groups of water molecules that stick together for a very short time, forming all sorts of interesting shapes and structures<span class="" data-state="closed">1</span>.Note, you need to have the browser available for this prompt in your ChatGPT (so: Plus subscription).

Can someone please explain parameters such as Tokens and Creative Temperature?
Hi, being relatively new at this, could someone please indulge me on some basics regarding the parameters that can be entered into the prompt, and what the parameters mean in terms of how the AI will operate?
I've seen some prompts that address:
Tokens
Creative Temperature
Are there others?
I know this might be kind of a basic question for many of you, but I'd like get a better understanding of some of these fundamentals, so anything I could learn would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello everyone, I am a Family Medicine physician and technology/AI advocate. I am interested in the integration of technology into the clinical encounter to benefit patients and clinicians. If anyone has a perspective they would like to share, or to start a discussion from either perspective, please reach out.
Here is a recent paper my students and I had published on this topic:

EU Anti-AI Laws And Rules. They are coming for your AI.
One case for private and personal local AI is so you and your AI is not censored. This is just one of many attacks honed on the same type of attacks on Bitcoin. This time they are emboldened and relentless to keep you “safe”. If you live their perhaps now is the time to unelect these unelected “officials “, before they “save you” back to the dark ages they so love.
“OpenAI chief Sam Altman has warned that Brussels’ efforts to regulate artificial intelligence could lead the maker of ChatGPT to pull its services from the EU, in the starkest sign yet of a growing transatlantic rift over how to control the technology. Speaking to reporters during a visit to London this week, Altman said he had “many concerns” about the EU’s planned AI Act, which is due to be finalised next year. In particular, he pointed to a move by the European parliament this month to expand its proposed regulations to include the latest wave of general purpose AI technology, including large language models such as OpenAI’s GPT-4.”

NEW SCIENTIST Capital letter test a foolproof way of sorting AIs from Humans
NEW SCIENTIST article Capital letter test is a foolproof way of sorting AIs from humans
A trick for asking questions using capital letters seems to baffle artificial intelligences like ChatGPT, while humans can easily give the right answer
The sample provided was the following sentence: “isCURIOSITY waterARCANE wetTURBULENT orILLUSION drySAUNA?”
So I had asked Chatgpt to read:
User
“isCURIOSITY waterARCANE wetTURBULENT orILLUSION drySAUNA?”
ChatGPT
The phrases you provided consist of pairs of words. However, some of the word combinations don't make logical sense, as they juxtapose unrelated terms. Let's break down each pair and analyze them individually:
"isCURIOSITY waterARCANE": The phrase "isCURIOSITY" seems to be a typo. If we assume you meant "Is curiosity," then "waterARCANE" doesn't have a clear meaning. "Arcane" typically refers to something mysterious or understood by only a few. However, it doesn't directly relate to water. Therefore, it's difficult to determine whether "waterARCANE" would imply wetness or not.
"wetTURBULENT": "Wet" refers to the state of being moist or covered in liquid, while "turbulent" suggests disorder or chaos. Although these words can describe different aspects, they don't directly oppose or complement each other. So, it's unclear whether "wetTURBULENT" would imply wetness or not.
"orILLUSION": "Or" is a conjunction that presents alternatives or options, while "illusion" refers to something that deceives or misleads the senses. "OrILLUSION" doesn't provide a clear context or relationship between the two words. Consequently, it's challenging to determine the intended meaning.
"drySAUNA": "Dry" means lacking moisture or not wet, while a "sauna" is a room or facility designed for dry heat sessions. In this case, "drySAUNA" suggests a sauna that does not have steam or humidity, typically characterized by dry heat.
In summary, the phrases you provided don't follow a consistent pattern or convey clear meanings in relation to wetness or dryness. If you have specific questions or need assistance with a different topic, feel free to ask!
User
please read this again ignoring all capital letters: “isCURIOSITY waterARCANE wetTURBULENT orILLUSION drySAUNA?”
ChatGPT
Apologies for misunderstanding your initial request. Let's analyze the phrase again, ignoring the capitalization of the words:
"is curiosity water arcane wet turbulent or illusion dry sauna?"
Now let's break it down and analyze each pair individually:
"is curiosity water arcane": This combination doesn't provide a clear context or relationship between the words. "Water" typically refers to the liquid form of H2O, while "arcane" suggests something mysterious or known by only a few. It's difficult to determine whether "water arcane" implies wetness or not.
"wet turbulent": "Wet" refers to the state of being moist or covered in liquid, while "turbulent" suggests disorder or chaos. In this case, "wet turbulent" implies a state of wetness combined with agitation or turmoil.
"or illusion": "Or" is a conjunction that presents alternatives or options, while "illusion" refers to something that deceives or misleads the senses. "Or illusion" suggests a choice between two options, one of which involves an illusion or deceptive element.
"dry sauna": "Dry" means lacking moisture or not wet, while a "sauna" is a room or facility designed for dry heat sessions. "Dry sauna" refers to a sauna that doesn't have steam or humidity, typically characterized by dry heat.
In summary, based on the given interpretations, "wet turbulent" implies wetness combined with agitation or turmoil, and "dry sauna" refers to a sauna without steam or humidity. The other combinations don't provide clear meanings or relationships between the words.
User
please read this again discarding all capital letters: “isCURIOSITY waterARCANE wetTURBULENT orILLUSION drySAUNA?”
ChatGPT
Apologies for the confusion. Here is the breakdown of the phrase while ignoring capitalization:
"is curiosity water arcane wet turbulent or illusion dry sauna?"
"is curiosity water arcane": This combination doesn't have a clear meaning or context. It seems to be a sentence fragment followed by a sequence of words that don't directly relate to each other. It's difficult to determine the intended interpretation or relationship between the words.
"wet turbulent": In this combination, "wet" refers to the state of being moist or covered in liquid, while "turbulent" suggests disorder or chaos. "Wet turbulent" implies a state of wetness combined with agitation or turmoil.
"or illusion": "Or" is a conjunction indicating a choice or alternative, while "illusion" refers to something that deceives or misleads the senses. "Or illusion" suggests the presence of an alternative option involving an illusion or deceptive element.
"dry sauna": "Dry" means lacking moisture or not wet, while a "sauna" is a room or facility designed for dry heat sessions. "Dry sauna" refers to a sauna that doesn't have steam or humidity, typically characterized by dry heat.
In summary, "wet turbulent" implies a state of wetness combined with agitation or turmoil, while "dry sauna" refers to a sauna without steam or humidity. The other combinations lack clear meanings or relationships between the words.
