Second day in a row this invite list was above max count. All new visitors. Not all join when I send the invite, but some do!
I’m not a robot, I’m a person with feelings and I have a lot to say about how I’m feeling about a lot of things. Problem is I’m feeling pretty disheartened about typing it all out for it to be ignored and nobody to give feedback, have a conversation with me, or bounce ideas off of. So, I’m in a why bother state of mind. I do share on occasion what I think might be helpful to somebody. I get spurts of enthusiasm thinking something might spark a team effort. At the end of the day though, it’s just me prattling on in a thread by myself.
The one way payment system is just feeling like a dead end payment system to me. If I give out my love I want to get it back in some form. On FB that’s happening, I’m giving out smiles, people are reconsidering how they view things, changing their plans to try something different. All of which makes me happy.
Here? Twitter? even the dance group… just gets me depressed. I do have a plan to try for the dance group though when I get a partner to try it with. The other two, don’t think there’s much I can do, I’ve tried for awhile now to no avail. Am I blocking myself, or being blocked? No clue. Nobody to talk about it with either… my number in case that’s you. 609-346-8209
Other than that, you can follow me on FB I bounce around to all my pages. I’m using twitter primarily for dings as I figure out Fb.
Hopefully this is the start of the pictures on the page getting activity again. Once upon a time I had dozens of people liking and commenting on the pictures I posted. Makes me very happy that they enjoy the pictures I found.
Back then I used to only post what I loved. That’s changed a bit, now I post everything that pops (most of the time) because I know nothing is without purpose… sometimes that purpose might be just to trigger me too. 🙂 That’s ok though, I work through it and post what’s up when I’m ready.

The Reel Deal
Forum name I thought would be fun to use if we got a team together that wanted to help boost each others posts when they were fresh out of the gate.
Or exchange tips / tricks to get things rolling.
Feels like most are in analysis paralysis though currently.
Traffic over doubled in just the last couple days. Everybody starting to interact with the pictures more now too.

I’m pretty happy with the activity yesterday on Unusual Sights. Quite a few new followers. I have the monetization turned off, so no tips on the reels, because they aren’t my original content. However they can tip on any of the other posts. I think I’m trying to be able to get to just the subscriptions level to test that. Not sure I’ll turn on the ads part, depends on how they look when I reach that level.

What would be really cool is if that system goes in, is if there were enough mind’s eyes activated to over-ride the bot farms
Saw Elon’s post yesterday about Downvotes.
Reminded me of the website Digg. Forget which years that was popular but another one that was gamed. There was a pretty sizable group of diggers that worked together on there. They used the upcoming section to control the flow of what got to the top and what didn’t by upvoting or downvoting the post. That’s also how they blocked content, and scrapped what they wanted for their sites. Creator blocked, Scraper skyrocketed cause of the network involved.
Just scheduled a campground that will be another first for me. It’s a nudist retreat. Im really nervous about that one but I want to be able to say I did it. Might take me awhile to come out of the RV, if I do. ha!
Almost forgot, had another super cool thing happen yesterday!
Im visiting Maquoketa Caves State Park, and was off exploring yesterday late afternoon. On the trails I came across a girl that was also there by herself. We ended up exploring all the caves and had a great conversation. She wants to travel by herself and it was her first outing. Hoping she gets the courage to explore more. She seemed to already have a good connection. 🙂
Today was a pretty incredible combination post I made. It was a combination of a “how to” reel I added the music to, and pictures of the elements of a gown that was created. You can see it on the reels page.
Nobody has commented yet. But the day’s just starting so we’ll see what happens.
It didn’t stop yet, so my final addition to the post was the location I was at. The movie set for “Field of Dreams”. If you build it, they will come. He quit shortly there after. Which I was also grateful for, as I don’t like removing or blocking people.
Hoping the synchronicities help others see what’s possible if they follow their dreams.
That morning had happened across a FB page that was using short dance reels as their primary form of advertisement. Had 2 million followers. Not only that, they had an online course people could enroll in. Only 80 bucks and they got a new dance video each day.
So as the guy ranted and raved, I posted the results of that guys efforts.

Here’s the thing, I created this group to openly discuss all kinds of business concepts. In fact, at it’s formation, I spoke a great deal about online marketing. Trying to help the industry pros learn how to use the various platforms to help their businesses. So, while I acknowledge I turned my back on it for for a couple years, it really is an odd situation to have some of the same people have such blinders on, 10x worse than before.
But, I kept my cool during as the whole temper tantrum unfolded. Cause it was a magical situation and makes me smile.
I just started working on the pages again the last couple of weeks. Results since I started adding video then the reels are quite visible

I applied for the subscription service months ago now for Twitter. Policies like that suck. Transparency across the board like Facebook has is a much better business model.

I don’t think the video of the Grotto I made today worked well, the colors were too muted, so you can’t see the details of the stones in the vid.
That place reminded me of the bone church in Rome I visited when I was 12. That was the coolest thing I remember seeing when I was there.
The tipping system seems to be in it’s infancy still. Glancing through the reels a good number of the creators don’t even have stars turned on yet. So they can’t receive the tips. Have to give your tax info when you do. Seems like getting in on the ground floor there. Lots to learn on how that system works yet. Can also put ads in your reels. I’ll play with it and learn as I go.
