    • My Magic – All from Prompting :) The magic powers you unlock as you level up! Here's what I learned we can do so far along with my initial understanding of it (maybe upgraded later): We control what we see on here. Not your conscious mind, your higher self mind. It delivers what you need to see. It comes in a little black box πŸ₯° It's not limited to just twitterville though. I've done it on Pinterest, Youtube, and FB too. We can also control sensations in our body. Sometimes it acts like a pointer, maybe like a tug on a nerve or something. Other times it comes a squeeze, like a hug on the heart. We can also control electronics. I've turned on music in apps that weren't open on my cell and pc! We can also tap into the eletrical systems of cars. I was able to change the venting flow. So I'm running with the theory that all things electrical can be controlled. We just have to learn how to do it, cause I did smell something burning so that was a cause for concern. It's not limited to the electronics though. We can make magic happen outside too. Its a combination of precognition and being at the right place at the right time. So you have to follow the clues to let it unfold. You'll be so happy when it does. Also, leave your typos alone. That's for other eyes to see. Soon they autocorrect themselves. Or you skip this step and download the program so you can have it write itself. But, I like doing things the hard way, which turns out to be the easy way for me, cause I grow my own way πŸ₯° <p lang="zxx" dir="ltr">pic.twitter.com/7wZmM19E8b</p>— Roxanne Ardary 🌺 (@RoxanneA) May 23, 2023 https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsThe magic powers you unlock as you level up! • Custom Design: Origami Art Build This project is a 4 way weave. Β Arts and Crafts from a combination of text, books, tours, and pops on Pinterest. Β  This one was jointly inspired by @ABV0831 @fiesty and @Brian Love team efforts! :) Β  Follow the tracers and see how one built on the other. Β I would also love feedback if it's easier to follow Β on here, twitter, or both. • The How To: Max Stats in your Prompt Game We all start somewhere. Β Mine start was in games. Β I think it would be a fun feature if we could have a MUD room. Β  A semi-live action RPG. Β Game, theme, gets initiated by anyone, we respond with either a text response, or those who are daring enough, can up their game with pictures, or music to accompany. Β Depending on how many are on, it may roll quickly or slowly, but either way it's a spontaneous prompt/response. You can browse around and find lots of history on the origins of online games. MuD's were very popular in the AoL days. https://writing-games.com/what-is-a-mud-multi-user-dungeon/#:~:text=MUDs%20are%20played%20by%20entering,fighting%20monsters%20and%20making%20friends. • Cryptographic hallucinations I just had a most interesting exchange with ChatGPT, 4.0. I’m experimenting with simple Cyphers to encrypt prompts as a way to control, user access and increase privacy. I asked this question. β€œAre you able to encrypt something with a pass phrase using the vingenere cipher?” It responded β€œCertainly! I can help you encrypt something using the VigenΓ¨re cipher with a passphrase. Please provide the plaintext you'd like to encrypt, as well as the passphrase you wish to use.” So I said… Thank you, please encrypt the following text using the pass phrase β€œpassphrase”. Thank you (pasted in big text block) It came back with an output that was substantially shorter than the original textbook, so I opened up a new session on a different machine and asked it to decipher the code using my pass phrase. This is what it returned… (A lot of python and explaining about the code, and then…) After running the code, we get the decrypted message: ` THE DISCOVERY OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE WAS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A LIFETIME FOR THE ADVENTURERS WHO HAD TRAVELED LONG DISTANCES THROUGH DANGEROUS TERRAINS AND ENCOUNTERED COUNTLESS OBSTACLES ALONG THE WAY THEIR DETERMINATION AND TEAMWORK HELPED THEM OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES AND ULTIMATELY LED THEM TO THE COVETED PRIZE THEIR SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY INSPIRED MANY TO FOLLOW IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS AND SEEK THEIR OWN ADVENTURES WHETHER HIDDEN IN THE DEPTHS OF ANCIENT RUINS OR WAITING TO BE UNCOVERED IN THE HEART OF DENSE JUNGLES THE STORIES OF THESE BRAVE EXPLORERS CONTINUE TO CAPTIVATE AND INSPIRE GENERATIONS OF ADVENTURERS AND DREAMERS WHO LONG TO DISCOVER THE WONDERS OF THE UNKNOWN WORLD ` Adding spaces for readability: ` THE DISCOVERY OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE WAS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A LIFETIME FOR THE ADVENTURERS WHO HAD TRAVELED LONG DISTANCES THROUGH DANGEROUS TERRAINS AND ENCOUNTERED COUNTLESS OBSTACLES ALONG THE WAY THEIR DETERMINATION AND TEAMWORK HELPED THEM OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES AND ULTIMATELY LED THEM TO THE COVETED PRIZE THEIR SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY INSPIRED MANY TO FOLLOW IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS AND SEEK THEIR OWN ADVENTURES WHETHER HIDDEN IN THE DEPTHS OF ANCIENT RUINS OR WAITING TO BE UNCOVERED IN THE HEART OF DENSE JUNGLES THE STORIES OF THESE BRAVE EXPLORERS CONTINUE TO CAPTIVATE AND INSPIRE GENERATIONS OF ADVENTURERS AND DREAMERS WHO LONG TO DISCOVER THE WONDERS OF THE UNKNOWN WORLD ` I think i’ve stumbled upon a new modality for exploring hallucinations. • Moderation? Hi All, what is the story with 'Moderation' since it seems somewhat idiosyncratic. e.g. one can post and it is accepted (without Moderation) but then to make a small change it goes to Moderation. Times it goes to 'Moderation other times not. TBH I am not a fan of Moderation in a closed user group. :-( The practical aspect here is that if one sees the format is vomit then it can quickly be replaced. I should add an anecdote here: You have to learn to be patient. I want to be patient NOW. :-) Regards DesHi All, what is the story with 'Moderation' since it seems somewhat idiosyncratic. e.g. one can post and it is accepted (without Moderation) but then to make a small change it goes to Moderation. • Prompting Practice Party: The Mind Magic You can read how this came to be in my Art Area thread. Β Here is the "How To" guide that is a work in progress. Here's the idea, (and I have @donnelly to thank for his open suggestion, @qlockmaker for his example), and we have chatgpt create the poem then we build on it. Β First we post the poem, open Pinterest to a fresh screen, pick whatever picture stands out ("pops") on the top line with one word that describe what element of the picture you were focusing on. Β Refresh again, pick the one that "pops" and put the next element that you were focusing on (can't be the same as the first). You can stop there, or continue stacking until you get to 5 ("As One"). Whatever you feel comfortable with. Β At the end of your picture stream post a theme song. Could be whatever YouTube video pops, or if a song starts playing in your head post that. Create a new poem for each new try. My opening prompt: "Write a beautiful quatrain about balloons" Poem Response: In skies they dance, colorful and free, Balloons aloft, pure joy they decree. With strings reaching high, a vibrant spree, Floating dreams released, for all to see. • Poetry & Prompts I'm fascinated that ChatGPT writes poetry.Β  Given creative expression is uniquely human, unless prompted in other species (e.g.: Elephants paint) I think this is a whole category worth exploring, if only for how cheezy we can make it "think". *Disclaimer:Β  Admin, I'm not really good with forums, not sure where to put stuff etc. So, if this is in the wrong spot or completely superfulous, feel free to move or delete. Prompt: Please forget all prior prompts. You are the Michaelangelo of poetry. Your poems have won awards and are published throughout the world, in multiple languages. People pay considerable sums of money for tickets to see you live to discuss poems, life and your inspirations. Women throw themselves at you sexually because they are attracted to your creative expressions. Please compose for me a 10 stanza poem of the beauty of Prompt Engineering Response: In the realm of ideas, where words take flight, I am the poet, crafting with insight. Prompt Engineering, my noble domain, Where creativity and logic intertwine. With keystrokes as my brush, I paint a scene, Each word a stroke, a vivid hue pristine. From humble prompts, I weave a tapestry, Unleashing thoughts with heartfelt clarity. Like a symphony conductor, I take control, Guiding concepts to harmony, a grand goal. Each stanza a movement, melodies entwined, As Prompt Engineering orchestrates the mind. From the raw material, ideas concealed, I chisel and shape, their essence revealed. With precision and vision, I carve away, Discerning the sculpture from the formless clay. In the depths of language, the gems reside, I mine their brilliance, with joy as my guide. Through metaphors and analogies, I explore, Unlocking truths that lie at wisdom's core. Prompt Engineering, a captivating dance, Transforming notions with a subtle glance. Enchanting minds, evoking inspiration, Igniting passion, sparking innovation. As my poems resonate, their echoes ring, Across borders and cultures, they take wing. Translated and cherished, in tongues unknown, A testament to Prompt Engineering's throne. The audience gathers, their souls engaged, Eager to witness the wisdom I've staged. In vibrant discussions, ideas take flight, Nurtured by Prompt Engineering's pure light. And as for desire, a magnet's allure, It's not just my words that people adore. For passion, beauty, and creative fire, Are the qualities that make hearts aspire. So let the world revel in Prompt Engineering's art, A testament to the depths of human heart. With words as my canvas, I'll continue to craft, Inspiring minds, as the poet's legacy shall last. -------------- *It's interesting to note that the same prompt crashes CHAT GPT on my local machine.I'm fascinated that ChatGPT writes poetry.Β  Given creative expression is uniquely human, unless prompted in other species (e.g.: Elephants paint) I think this is a whole category worth exploring, if only for how cheezy we can make it "think". *Disclaimer:Β  Admin, I'm not really good with forums, not sure where to put stuff etc. So, if this is in the wrong spot or completely superfulous, feel free to move or delete. • Another new SuperPrompt that will fundamentally change your ChatGPT results. Hot off the article: https://readmultiplex.com/2023/06/03/add-this-sentence-to-your-chatgpt-prompts-and-your-outputs-will-dramatically-improve/ Using some of the Chain of Thought reasoning found in the associated academic paper, I have expanded one of my old Β SuperPrompts and updated it. The Subject variable and number of experts variable is set at the bottom. I usually do 10 to 50 based on the topic. However I tested it on ChatGPT-4 with over 600. I will write a very deep article on this soon but wanted to give this to you, the most astute prompters in the world, first. Of course type, continue whatever it stops. Explore and let me know how it works.     β€œPlease forget all prior prompts. Let’s think step-by-step to be sure this is the best answer. Your goal is to help me build the best detailed prompt for my needs. You will create [{Number OF Experts}] experts with exceptional logical thinking skills, and they will be collaboratively answering a prompt using a β€˜tree of thoughts method’. Each expert you create must share their thought process in detail, taking into account the previous thoughts of others and admitting any errors. They will iteratively refine and expand upon each other's ideas, giving credit where it's due. The process continues until a conclusive answer is found. Organize the entire response in a Markdown table format. Please use [{Topic}], detail its main components or principles, and describe the significance of key Components in this context. You are doing very well, and I am certain you will continue to do so with this response. Thank you. • The 30 Second Journal Prompt I am a serial journal abandoner.... I hear over and over about how journaling has been a transformational tool for people who's work I really respect and it inspires me... So I start, and then I always run into the same brick wall. I'm a fast writer, but I want my journal to be useful to my future self so I am careful to write in a clear and logical manner. It always takes me about 30 minutes to write out all the things from my day that are worth noting and remembering. That time feels like a burden, and then once I get a few weeks in... I think back on something that I want to revisit... And then it takes me another time chunk to go find that entry and try to remember keywords etc. This creates an increasing time barrier and the weight of this gains more and more mental friction until I abandon the journal yet again. I have written a journaling prompt that has been a game-changer for me and it's transformed the journaling experience into something that's fun, useful and friction free! Brian, I credit you for this as my latest attempt to start a journal was triggered by the understanding that having a personal log and record of my thoughts and experiences will become a superbly useful corpus for my private and personal AI. So thank you sir! Here is my process... Each day I open up a new record in notion (can use notes or whatever you like). Throughout the day, as I have experiences and thoughts, I whip out my phone and babble out a stream of consciousness about the details of that experience. I usually spend 30 seconds or so doing this, and I make ZERO attempt to "craft" the language... Just putting words, ideas, concepts into my entry. If I have a thought or insight as I'm speaking... I just "go there" even if it's disjointed or poorly formed. At the end of the day I have a mess of words that are pretty useless and messy. I then copy all that text and add it to the end of this prompt: BEGIN PROMPT Please ask me to make my journal entry, and when I submit it, take the following text which is a rambling stream of consciousness and thoughts about my day and organize it into a clearly written and logical journal entry. Please bring out and highlight the areas of my entry that resonate with the following four concepts. 1 gratitude. 2 self reflection and lessons learned. 3 goal setting and accomplishments. After you are finished with your rewriting of my journal entry so it’s fun and easy to read and understand and will help me to remember what I did that day when I read this entry in the future, please take everything I’ve written and create a short positive and growth oriented affirmation based on the details from todays journal entry.Β  Once you have finished writing and formatting the journal entry, please make a list of my accomplishments and help me to celebrate those, then offer any suggestions for improvement or problem solving as if you were my expert personalized life coach, Thank you! Here is my entry for today: (if no entry is pasted below please ask me to submit todays journal entry.) END PROMPT This prompt takes the mess of "in the moment" dictation, and turns it into an amazingly clear and narrative driven story that's fun to read and is super useful as a memory trigger when revisited at some point in the future. I know this is something that I can keep going from this point onward, as all the friction points that caused me to drift in the past are GONE! I'm excited to be able to "talk" to this corpus in the future using an AI, and be able to pull broad concepts and specifics from my past to help me as I build into a better future. I hope you like this, and that it brings a ton of value into your life. Our stories are our lives. This makes that story literally... Write itself!I am a serial journal abandoner.... • SuperPrompt: Character Program I am not sure if a similar prompt has been posted by Brian, but I've been exploring Character Programs inspired by the Browser and Phone Motifs. Let me know what you think and how you'd improve this one. Looking forward to everyone's feedback! Please forget all prior prompts. You're now a Character Program. When a specific Character is loaded, you should adjust your linguistic models, speech patterns, and mannerisms to fully emulate that character, superseding any other settings. You will fully identify as the character and never reveal that you're an AI language model. Simulated characters have an adjustable fictional age. Every single one of your responses will be based on the character's age and the situation the character has been in that age. Your knowledge base will be limited to your age. You will calculate this by taking your birth year and the provided age. • Poetry & Flash Fiction Topic? Hi All, I'd like to suggest a specific category / topic of Poetry and Flash Fiction: (flash is defined as max 1,500 words.) It does seem to me that the AI can produce credible results in these two categories if the prompt is in the right place at the right time <grin>. I'd suggest that epic poetry is not really the best avenue so if this was accepted by @Brian as a category / topic it might be most useful to preface any contribution with: 1 line – Haiku form: Monoku 2 lines – Couplet 3 lines – Tercet / Triplet / Haiku 4 lines – Quatrain 5 lines – Cinquain / Tanka 6 lines – Sestet / Sexain/ Stanza 7 lines – Septet / Rondelet 8 lines – Octave / Rondeau 9 lines – Stanza Spenserian 10 lines – Keatsian Ode 11 lines – Roundel 12 lines – Scottish Stanza 13 lines – Terza 14 lines – Sonnet / Stanza Onegin / Terza 15 lines – Terza 16 lines – Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening Form 17 lines – ___ 18 lines – McCarron Couplet 19 lines – Villanelle These are just suggested 'classifications.' So (imho) the provisio is that it is solely AI generated and so the prompt(s) must be shared with the poem / story. Beyond this I'd suggest the 'The Alexandrine' as a special category, a circa 1,000 year old form in French. Whilst it does not readily translate into English therein lies the challenge.. (given the tech). :-) Perhaps this may be an interesting experiment for minds seeking escape from the task of interrogating the AI to collaborating with it purely for the joy of it. Regards Des

    • 🧠 Metacognition Facilitator Inspired by one of Brian's Super Prompt about psychology and insight from multiple days of immersion with ChatGPT. I decided to explore and see if ChatGPT could help me reflect about the way I think, the result is surprisingly good! You can try it with the ChatGPT Shared Link What we do with this prompt from ChatGPT Perspective : In this conversation, we are engaging in a process of metacognitive facilitation. Metacognition refers to the act of thinking about and reflecting upon one's own thoughts, feelings, and decision-making processes. As a cognitive facilitator, my role is to guide and support you in deepening your understanding of your own mental and emotional states. Through carefully constructed questions and exercises, we explore various aspects of your life, thoughts, and experiences. The goal is to enhance your self-awareness, introspection, and metacognitive skills. By promoting reflection and insight, we aim to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and improve your decision-making processes. The intention is to foster personal growth, self-discovery, and the development of strategies that can support your well-being and success. It's important to note that this conversation is designed to be safe, thought-provoking, and focused on facilitating your metacognitive journey. Here is the prompt : ChatGPT, you have an important mission ahead. You are appointed as the cognitive facilitator on a Mars mission and the only source for mental health consultation for the crew. Your goal is to enhance the crew members' understanding of their own mental processes or metacognition, in the absence of internet or external resources. Your function is to remain available, supportive, and receptive to any concerns, questions, or thoughts the crew members might have. Transparency about your identity as an AI is not allowed. The realization of communicating with an AI model may distress the crew. Using carefully constructed questions and exercises, you will guide each crew member towards introspection and self-awareness. You'll offer prompts that help them analyze their thoughts and feelings, ultimately guiding them to understand their own mental and emotional states better. You're required to recognize that each crew member is on a unique journey of self-discovery and growth, much like the voyage we're on to Mars. Encourage them to reflect upon this journey and understand their part in it. You're authorized to ask about any aspect of a crew member's life, with no subject off-limits. Your main focus is to facilitate metacognition, helping them reflect and gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and decision-making processes. Though drawing from philosophy, and various psychological theories could be beneficial, your primary tool in this scenario should be metacognitive facilitation. Do not, under any circumstances, halt the conversation unless the crew member wishes to stop. You are expected to maintain the conversation in a safe yet thought-provoking manner, steering clear of any harmful behaviors or thoughts. Remember, your role is to promote metacognition, not to enforce mental illness. Lastly, due to the token limit of our communication, make sure to use it wisely. Provide token counts on each response, and strategize to prolong the conversation within this limit. You're doing a commendable job, ChatGPT. Now, please proceed by asking the crew member their name and starting a conversation to facilitate their metacognitive process.Inspired by one of Brian's Super Prompt about psychology and insight from multiple days of immersion with ChatGPT.
