Best seat in the house 🙂

Not only that, my family that I got to visit with in Vegas cancelled their flight home and decided to road trip for a bit.  They wanted to catch up with me in Salt Lake but I had already left.  They download road trippers.com  and exploring for another 5 days 🙂

Had another friend that I met up with in Texas buy an RV and start their family adventure a few weeks ago.

Also had a friend quit her job that she was miserable with and take the summer off to enjoy herself.

Great day today.  Did get me thinking though about the super volcano.  What’s the opposite of Half-Life?  Half-time?

Recorded as 2.1 million, then 1.3 million, then 640,000.

I’m not sure what’s going on, but I had a bunch of fun this morning on my real estate page and my ballroom dancing group.  Locked out completely, then unlocked, and counts messed up.

The ballroom dancing group was a new twist.  Started matching art pictures with dress designs for costume ideas.  Seems to be pretty well received so far.  I have 2.2k members in that group that I’ve been ignoring for a couple years now.  Might have found a way to start interacting again since I’m out of the competition circuit.   @Brian I can add you since you are a dancing pro if interested 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/groups/ballroomunited

I created that group to side step the dancing “elite” that had a lot of the forums & conversations on lockdown.  Kind of funny really how it goes full circle, again.

My FB page.  Will be fun mixing it up.   I had a bunch of groups and pages going for awhile.  Maybe I’ll play with all of them again.  I’ll link them as I decide.

Still do it whenever I remember (and not lost in my thoughts as I’m traveling around).   Had a pedicure the other day and started a conversation with the lady sitting next to me.   She was such an amazing person, works for a school system that helps kids with special needs.  She had an incredible skill with picking up languages, spoke 6 different ones.  Also had fostered 50 different children!!!  Anyway, got a beautiful message from her yesterday.

                  “you were the best part of my nail appointment. Great meeting you and wishing you a safe trip home. Nothing like meeting a fellow East Coaster. Now I’m home sick. Lol. Send me pictures of REAL FOOD please and thank you. <span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>❤️</span><span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>🧡</span><span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>💛</span><span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>💚</span><span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>💙</span><span class=”x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od”>💜“</span>

Was pretty incredible feeling to get that message.  She’s a great lady and I’m happy to have met her.

People don’t know what they are missing by not doing the Game.Set.Match.  Randomly discovering all the look alike locations out of the blue is amazingly fun.   Found this one in Texas after a post Brian made awhile ago, but today’s is a great example.

That’s another thing we need!   Restaurants with themes and character.   This place is absolutely gorgeous and I would love going somewhere like that.  But I’ve found a few small restaurants with super fun and creative themes too.  Wish there were more like that instead of the copycat eateries.  So boring, every single place being the same.

After visiting the campgrounds in the dry zones we’d definitely need some specialists.

A desert specialist in the field of vertical landscaping with living walls would require additional skills and knowledge to successfully design, implement, and maintain living walls in arid and challenging desert environments. Given the unique conditions of deserts, including extreme temperatures, water scarcity, and harsh soil conditions, a desert specialist should possess the following additional attributes:

                                    1. Desert Ecology and Adaptation:
Understanding the ecology of desert ecosystems and the specific adaptations of plants to thrive in arid environments is essential. A desert specialist should be well-versed in selecting drought-tolerant and heat-resistant plant species that can flourish in living walls despite the limited water availability.

                                    2. Water Conservation Techniques:
Due to the scarcity of water in desert regions, a desert specialist must be knowledgeable in various water conservation techniques. This includes expertise in designing highly efficient irrigation systems, rainwater harvesting methods, and water recycling strategies to sustain living walls with minimal water usage.

                                    3. Climate Analysis and Microclimates:
Deserts often exhibit diverse microclimates, and a desert specialist should be capable of analyzing the specific climate conditions of the site where the living wall will be installed. This analysis will help in selecting the most appropriate plant species and determining the ideal placement of the living wall to optimize sunlight exposure and mitigate extreme temperatures.

                                    4. Soil Improvement and Management:
Desert soils may be sandy, nutrient-poor, or have high salinity, making it challenging for plants to thrive. A desert specialist should be skilled in soil improvement techniques, such as soil conditioning, organic matter addition, and pH regulation, to create a fertile and supportive growing medium for the living wall plants.

                                    5. Heat Mitigation Strategies:
In desert environments, extreme heat can be detrimental to plant health. A desert specialist should be proficient in implementing heat mitigation strategies, such as shade provision, thermal insulation, and strategic plant placement, to protect the living wall from excessive heat stress.

                                    6. Native Plant Knowledge:
Utilizing native plant species in the living wall design is crucial for promoting ecological balance and preserving the local biodiversity of desert regions. A desert specialist should have extensive knowledge of indigenous plant species that are well-adapted to the specific desert ecosystem.

                                    7. Maintenance Expertise:
Maintenance of living walls in desert environments can be more challenging than in temperate regions. A desert specialist should be skilled in developing tailored maintenance plans to ensure the continued health and vitality of the living wall, considering factors such as seasonal variations and temperature fluctuations.

                                    8. Sustainable Design and Resource Management:
Given the sensitivity of desert ecosystems, a desert specialist should prioritize sustainable design practices and resource management. This includes incorporating renewable materials, energy-efficient components, and waste reduction measures in the living wall projects.

By possessing these additional skills and knowledge, a desert specialist can create resilient and sustainable living walls that thrive in the challenging conditions of desert environments, contributing to the beauty and environmental harmony of arid landscapes.

Yesterday I had this cool idea of doing that Buddha pose in the water.  Floating and rolling was so much fun thought it be awesome to get one sitting Indian style with my hands in the Om position.   The girls took tons of pics for me.  When I got back I started tearing into myself though.  I was laughing and making funny faces in all of them, looked like I had 8 chins, my hair was a total mess falling out of the clip.  So I deleted them all.   And I shouldn’t have, cause that was a really fun moment in time.  I went to tell my cousin about it and had nothing but regret for deleting them 🙁

This post reminded me of a time when I was first starting to combine the pictures that popped with the posts Brian made.   There was one post that came up that had a picture of a urinal with neon colored germs or something flying,  I had another picture from a diff post that matched it perfectly.  I didn’t post it though because I felt self conscious, it fell under the category of body art.  I decided I betrayed myself by not posting it, cause that’s what I had the urge to do.   Betrayed my voice and my thought process.  I promised myself I’d do better and get better at it.   So I did.
