Now that I’m thinking about this, that’s not actually quite accurate. My mom told me I used to say it before it happened. It’s changed. Seems like now I need an interpreter. Which is kind of funny. Guess it’s not cheating if your passing cheat sheets and don’t know what they say.

I just invited everyone, everywhere to come 🙂 There’s quite a few family disputes going on in the background that I’m not getting involved in. So I decided I was just going to go. Bought my ticket, and announced it. They can make their own decisions. I’ll have fun either way. Invited twitter peeps, and my gaming guild peeps, not really concerned who shows up. Maybe I’ll be able to play with the live feature for those that can’t get there.
Also, it really does suck that twitter hasn’t given me my private room yet. I use it to test things on FB.

I tried to test out the live feature on the app in my community group and it didn’t work. Im not really sure what all I should be talking about if I were to do it. Walk throughs of places take a long time. Downloading the Live Photos is still fun though. FB requires at least 3 seconds of viewable time, so they might work perfectly to keep adding up minutes

Had a beautiful stream this morning. Brought back a lot of memories from last summer. It was always a surprise when I’d do a stream of posts and then realize how they all connected at the end, the story it told. Not knowing what I’m doing till it’s done was fun. Hope it happens more, I really enjoyed those stories. I could do without the tears though.
I didn’t even know it was a Blue Moon last night till Brian’s post this morning. That made me smile 🙂 I like finding surprises.

Ballroom page surpassed Unusual Sights by a couple thousand now. Something weird is going on with view counts on BDTU though. They are all moving around the same range 3-4k currently. Not the ups and downs that I’d expect from completely organic. It’s not a monetized page so I’m wondering if they are pushing those more since I’m not “attempting” to make anything off of it. Makes me think it’s bait to get people to enroll. Cause the dance vids on U.S. don’t have the same traffic. They ask for you to pay to boost your posts. I can’t account for possible page scrollers vs placement in the reel line up though I still think there would be a bigger difference between the videos.
I’m not turning on the monetization on this page for awhile I want to see if the trend stays that way.

I’m feeling a bit down about a lot of things today. Im still struggling to see the point of most of it. No light at the end of the tunnel so far. Only thing great about awakening is a got a nice vacation, but it was at the expense of everything in my life. I followed every dream as close as I could, and for what? I have a bunch of ideas for everyone else and nothing for me. No life plan to tell my family, whole thing just sucks.
I’m on the last little bit of my coast to coast adventure. Just got down the shore, gonna be on the beach in the next day or two depending on the weather.
Im talking with a dance friend who knits. She’s going to let me fiddle around with her fb page so I can see what types of reels and pictures work for her page.
I decided to take a different approach to twitter. I’ve been feeling very frustrated with seeing the same msgs over and over from the bubble I was in. My dings also stopped with the change of content from pictures to more video. So, Im going to explore some of the other accounts that are full of angry people and see if my videos and pictures make them smile. Making new friends might help me see more in my stream as well. The only stuff that was changing and being updated was Brian’s. Don’t get me wrong, the msgs and lessons are great, it’s been almost a year and half though and while the reminders are needed occasionally I think I’d like to try to be giving people smiles while brining more into the fold.

I posted a number of different pictures and videos to give my knitting friend some ideas on things to post for her page. Ill do a little bit at a time, might help her be more creative as well. Problem a lot of these people have is they are very skilled in their crafts and can’t do the technical stuff.

It’s interesting. I’m seeing a ton of blue dot comments now. For quite a few of the posts they are all at the top of the replies. I went to a few that had a lot of comments and to find the small accounts I had to scroll way down.
Def seems like the blue dots get the top spots. Only blue dot above had a response from a blue dot. But I don’t know if we all see the responses in the same order or not.

10k followers reached. Just have to wait for engagements and minutes played to meet the criteria then it could be monetized
Today BDTU might beat Unusual Sights in followers. I should say probably will. Dance videos take off like wild fire. Here’s what I haven’t determined yet..
Whether it’s because it’s a niche page and people can scroll through video after video of what they like, or FB is pushing the dance related keywords.
Things that could be improved on for their own income generation
1- they should copy twitters in comments ads so they get revenue from pictures & conversations as well
2- Commenting on the reels does not appear on the pages, it’s a separate section. Would be cool if it was combined so scrollers could see it in the drop down on the page. Don’t really dig the separate conversation box.
I decided to follow Brian’s lead and if I share videos to put a few words at the top so the followers stay on the page for commenting hopefully. That would keep engagement rising on those posts rather than on the “shared” post.
Did see a video where they reshaped their old vids every two months or so, will also use comments on the share on that.
Still don’t know what I’m going to do with the RE page. Part of me is thinking that some of the videos don’t get the exposure because it’s a registered business page.
Almost everything I post on the RE can be posted on US.
FB is doing a disservice to their long standing picture pages that still attract thousands of views by not giving them their was to generate outside of subscriptions. They’ve kept their traffic and helped keep FB customers. In comment ads like Twitter’s would benefit them tremendously or they might just decide to relocate.
From what I can tell the only way the picture pages can make money if they don’t sell products is if sponsors decide to market their products with the page directly.

Both US and BDTU have been capped out at 1000 invites a day. It’s a good thing that part exists because when you click on the next button it takes you to a different pages real. I did come across away to chain them together, going to see if I can find that again and see what happens with the next button if I do that. Though I will say, I don’t like the idea of people auto redirected if they click on a video on your page.
I’ve been thinking about the reel redirection and I’m changing my mind to thinking its a good thing to help the baby pages take off. Otherwise you have no way of getting your content in front of eyes.
I’m giggling inside. I’ve posted 4 inquiries so far in the BDTU group for people looking to learn to dance. Only thing I’m doing is going through the comments and anyone saying “I’ve always wanted to learn to do that” and responding to them “Would you like to learn? We have a network of teachers across the US I can see if we have someone near you. What area are you in? ”
That guy that gave me a bunch of shit saying my idea sucked can put that in his pipe and smoke it. Now I just gotta get the teachers to wake up and start doing it too. They haven’t connected the dots yet. Posts pop, but not doing the post scroll.

I decided to just try putting the same videos that I’m putting up on FB on twitter. Can’t download them from FB and upload to Twit yet, they get glitched and won’t upload for some reason. Kinda sucks cause FB lets you add music and mute the original track. This is the ballroom page one I uploaded today. It’s fun, I’ll see how it does.

Met with a friend today who is part of Amazon’s transport departments. He said they were testing out a couple of pilot programs for the transportation systems. Tesla’s semi’s in some places and the hydrogen engines in others.
