I am very interested in making your system of ‘SaveWisdom’ / ‘1000 questions’ available to people of my mother’s generation, whether they still live at home, or whether they live in assisted living. I have some questions that I hope you, or other readers of this forum, might answer.
Are the X, Y, and Z still your recommended voice recorders? If others are now preferable, which?
How do you present this project to participants? Person-to-person? Talks arranged by venues? If venues, which sort? Assisted living communities? Churches etc.? YMCA’s etc?
In what format do you distribute your 1000 questions? Printed 8.5 x 11 sheets? custom-printed books? PDF files? A web app?
How do you transform spoken word to text? Whisper? Other?
How do you transform text into a format best made available to an LLM?
Do you recommend any certain LLM to be ‘tuned’ or ‘trained’?
How does this occur?
How would a human interact with a ‘tuned’ LLM? Chat-style web? Spoken word?
If the LLM interacts with a simulacrum of the Wise person’s voice, how is that modeled from recorded responses?
How are audio responses, transcripts, and weightings stored?
Could a delta of weightings be applied to newer LLM’s as they are made available?
You have placed strict limits on sale of your questions. How would you recommend I fund expenses related to explanation and provision of such a system? A per-event sum? A per-participant fee? Sponsorships by venues, clubs, and organations?
I believe this is a great project, and could be used by those facing grave illness or danger, or having suffered trauma, or enjoyed a victory or blessing, or made it through some milestone event (marriage, divorce, graduation, initiation, first job, first job loss).
I sincerely hope to get a response to guide my efforts in this.
