I’m a recent newby to this portal, so welcome everyone. I’m certainly enjoying catching up not only the previous content, but also on some of the debates and exchanges on the forum.

The research and your own prior findings on the impact of seemingly small words and language subtleties, are fascinating @Brian. I especially found intriguing the connection of the findngs n this article, to one of the earlier articles (“A Selection Of Powerful ChatGPT SuperPrompts”).

The professor debate mediation example was really interesting, in terms of the depth it was forcing the model to go into.  This has made me to ponder on the possibilities of combining the itterarive approach in that example, with the more linear instructional request of the “let us work through step by step…” technique. I will need to experiment with this somewhat.

The applicability of the debate example (with some tweaks) to encouraging simulation style output scenarios, is another potential use-case which has dawned on me. Something like a red/blue exercise run by corporates as part of war games. Certainly plenty of scope for experimentation in this brave new world 🙂
