x402 Payments: How To Get Paid For Your Data By Selling It To AI Agents. The New Agentic Economy.

Why the history lesson? I am not new to payments, I am not new to AI (see my articles here). And today we are merging the two into something else I have been a part of Bitcoin-like payments. In the 1980s I dreamed of nano and micro payments below 10¢ or below 1¢, but the floor costs, transaction fees, are 20¢ or more. This made 99¢ the edge of minimum selling price for virtual transactions and it is no accident that this was the iTunes music store was the price established for a music file.
