I spent 6 years in a Ukrainian school and only remember 3 words. Mom stayed the same (but we were taught it as Mother), dad (which we were taught was father), but if you look it up the language they are two different words. The third word was cookies. How we wrote the T wasn’t like that it was the right side up M with the squiggle line on top. And when I asked Michael how to say cookies it was a different word, not the word written below, which is what we learned. Mother We also did the sign of the cross in the opposite direction than regular churches, I was going left when they were going right.

First issue was when we were studying the constitution. My mom and uncle would have constitution meetings that I sat in on sometimes. It was some weekly meeting that a small group of big people did. The part in the class that I argued with her was when she brought up dollar bills saying they were legal because I had already learned they were against the constitution. Another girl stood up too and was arguing that I was wrong and the teacher was right. 2 against 1 so I stopped arguing and sat down again. I wasn’t equipped mentally to debate it because I just remembered the key point.

The other time I got mad at her was when she started ruffing us up a little. She’d get rage-y at times. One day while we were in line waiting to get our lunch in the cafeteria we weren’t standing in as straight of a line as she wanting so she went down the line shoving the kids back in and her hand slammed against my chest. I was kind of shocked she laid a hand on me then turned around and watched her pushing the other kids. I went home and told my mom that day. I remember it being dark out, but my mom got pissed. Drove straight to the convent and told her never to touch me again.
Next day the nun had some snarky remarks about kids getting their parents involved. I felt bad about it, cause it didn’t hurt, and I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. Didn’t want to be manhandled either. My mom rarely laid a hand on me so certainly didn’t want her touching me.
That’s the only two things standing out.
I was obviously pretty mad that day. But, for the life of me I can’t recall anything about it. Don’t remember who the girls were, vaguely remembering a Sandy from back then but that’s it.
Alex def was a thing. Tried to find him on FB awhile back, his last name is Santos. But everybody that came up on FB was Spanish or Mexican. He was Ukrainian though, spoke it fluently.

Dinner at season 52

Visited Bradenton Beach today. Very cute town!
Apparently I really loved marrying everybody. Shannon was my step sister, and Richie was my cousin. I did recently friend Shannon on FB. Both she and her husband got into real estate. She always had problems with her feet so she didn’t stay as a hairdresser, standing that long hurt. She did go to work for Ski for a bit, back when he was trying to scheme against my mom in the divorce with money he was sending her which was part of their marital estate. So she took the job to earn it legit on the books. Not even sure why, my mom never expected him to not take care of his daughter.
The charter was when one of the boats got rented out for a private function. On our pier where we kept them doc’d was a police station. You know, they used to pull dead bodies out of the river? I remember one of them, they had him laying on the pier, covered with a sheet and I asked the officer to let me see. He showed me and told me he hadn’t been in the water very long because he wasn’t bloated yet. I was just wondering why they would show a little kid that, but then I realized it didn’t scar me I forgot all about it till now.
Im remembering when the fly my dad up to have his funeral. He died in Florida. They had an open casket funeral but his skin had black marks. I asked what they were and they said something about the blood pooling.
Remembering when I went to a funeral with Richie, we were much older, adults with careers. Forget who it was but Richie was taking pictures of the body in the casket.

When I got my first house I asked me mom to write down her favorite recipes for me so I could learn to cook. I don’t have it with me but she wrote it in a book that looks similar to my diary. Im not remembering actually making any of the recipes, and I don’t have it to see what’s in it but what I remember:

Shared a van conversion post. Think it was for Maho cause he was lugging so much crap around and wanted to be able to go place. My cousin too. And whoever else is following along.
These are probably the only pictures I have of those ages. The first looks a little washed out but it was a pale pink dress. My mom would always cut our hair and I was sporting the bowl cut in the 9 yr old one.
UDL just opened a T-shirt shop. They didn’t offer a V cut so I didn’t order one. My skull logo in discord was also a similar color to the 9 yr dress.
I’m not sure what’s up with this.
I spent years being literally afraid of the dark and I have no idea why. I did image black masses crossing through my room. But I’ve never had a scary hands on type of experience.
I was thinking earlier today that they should invert some of those stories more frequently. I posted an Adam and Eve dance video to Unusual Sights and had one lady freaking out about black people always having to play the villains. On TV, in shows, the works. My first thought was that it made economical sense to use skin tones to depict it, but frankly I’ve seen a lot of villainous behavior from white people. So I agree with her.
I can’t find the r33l now but I hope they do a remake. Have all the white people in black costumes and all the black people play Adam and Eve wearing the Lilly white. Same thing with the nutcracker. They should remake that too.
The American Ballet Theater only had their first black principal dancer in 2015.
Nobody is Lilly white though, so I’m not even sure they should be sending that msg.
The other day when I was thinking about the Foxtrot basic I was also thinking that it was or of a rectangle. It’s funny this popped up in the diary.
This pic was taken when the lift broke at Palm Springs. We were all stuck there for a couple hours and had to wait for it to be repaired. Weird thing happened, I got hungry so went and bought myself some lunch. No sooner than I started eating an announcement came on that everybody would get a free lunch. I was wondering why I didn’t wait but then saw the lunch counter bum rushed so I was happy I didn’t. The line was huge.
