Going cross country in an RV did wonders for my outlook on life, and made me realize just how strong, brave, and powerful I really am. The craziest thing, most of it was through remembering who I used to be. The things I did on my own throughout my life. I just forgot who I was along the way.
For the longest time I was a passenger on the ride of “life”. Just tagged in others photos, joining in on other’s plans. Didn’t display anything of my journey really, just tagging along in everyone else’s. Facebook let me see how I turned into the driver of my universe. Back seat to front seat.
One of the goals I have with Facebook is making sure that my FB history has memories of the adventures I’ve created on every single day. When the history notification pops up I want to see the world I created for myself. Daily. Adventures to look back on, making memories that I created last a lifetime.
At 21 I bought my first house. When my father died he had left $5,000 for each of us. I was 5 at the time, and by 21 I had enough to put a down payment on a home. So I did.
