      Ah, got it. The Nerdminer.

They have a blog with helpful posts: https://nerdminers.com/blog/

As well, there are some Youtube videos on it but I have not watched nor vetted them.

Sorry can’t be more helpful but thanks for helping secure the Bitcoin network!

Hi all. Finally got around to taking action on this article. Really excited and promising.

Running into some problems. Curious if others happening as well.

          On MacOS Ventura 13.4

Using the recommended db gpt4all-j-v1.3-groovy. When disconnected from Local Docs it works. When connected to local docs, even when not trying to reference Local Doc the app crashes upon prompt submission.

          Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks for the further questions Brian!

Our school uses the discovery learning approach with a goal of developing students who can critically think, so AI has been more positively embraced as a good disruption to the factory model of education.

As your posts on prompt engineering demonstrate, working with AI has the benefit of sharpening critical thought processes, starting with outcomes in mind, and learning to articulate in written form what is desired.

One of our school’s programs, the Khan World School @ ASU Prep, is partnered with Khan Academy to beta test Khanmigo, the student/teacher AI helper built inside Khan Academy.

Khanmigo has been tuned on Khan Academy courses as well as trained to not just present the answer but guide students into deeper thought and understanding of the topic. It also has some prebuilt educationally framed prompts to help a user sense the possibilities.

In places where it is banned? I think that shows more on the lack of demonstrated value of the entity doing the banning. The opportunity for educators is showing the wonder of the world and inviting students into that wonder and exploration.

To the student who uses it to cheat and circumvent the educational processes, educators are already adjusting the way a learner has to demonstrate their learning, because with AI tools, the ability to process long form, hand written text or other learning artifacts will speed up their ability to process that type of assessment and have it be about the depth of knowledge gained rather than a ledger of points translated into a single letter.

speaking of wonder, thanks for how you create open and accessible ways for people to have the courage to embrace wonder as a lens to see the world through.

              Subscribed!

While all the AI stuff is super fascinating and I’m engaged in some POC work currently, I think this topic is the one most urgently practical to me.

Grateful for you and team, Brian.
