        pnutmaster,

I’d like to participate! I’m in USA in the Eastern time zone.

        1) Ideal date and time: Fridays work for me. Late afternoon or into evening or even late into the night. I did stay up for one of Brian’s Coast to Coast interviews!

        2) Preferred topic of discussion: first meeting “Getting to Know You” individual introductions of self and then discussion of the state of “nudge” technology i.e. how sales/marketing type techniques are being incorporated into other applications.

          Bart!

I wonder if those numbers have to do with the final printed dimensions or with the printing process of the dermatology newsletter?

I got almost the exact same email news letter for ASPIRE DERMATOLOGY in May.  I’ve trashed it but I’m going to call them today and see if I can get it resent to me so I can compare the ASPIRE text to what you just reported.

          I’ll keep you posted.

            @brian,

I’m with @dieregterjohan on this! But I see your point. The AI classes I’m currently in have all given notice that they won’t be offered again since the case studies are now outdated and the AI space is moving too fast….

If you need help with setting up the university let me know.  I’d be happy to assist with little nit-picky stuff.  THANK YOU for attempting to do all this in the first place.  I totally appreciate what you’ve got going on here.

I have no idea how this forum topic alluded me until today!

I know someone who unfortunately recently passed away. He was well loved by the entire community.

              https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/thomas-greene-jr-obituary?pid=201041073

Revolutionary War hero General Nathanael Greene was his 4th great uncle. He would always have Christmas eve dinner with us and everyone especially my kids loved him. He was quite the conversationalist which made all of us realize how the art of good conversation has been lost.

Fortunately, his niece attempted to record him at one point. I’ll ask her what the status of that recording is.

One of the more fascinating stories I hope we can capture is that Tom had a chair in his house that was General Greene’s and he’d always offer it to guests.  If the ghost of the General didn’t like a visitor that person would fall out of that chair.  I saw it happen more than once. The visitor would claim the chair was crooked or that it was unsteady.  I’ve sat in it. No problem.

Tom Green was essentially a living history encyclopedia. The man was sharp as a tack until the day he simply dropped dead. His family had tried to get him to use a computer at one point but he didn’t like it. He said it made him stupid and he could tell it was what was making people more forgetful. So he never used it.

He was a gifted musician from a young age and had gotten a scholarship to Yale to get his degree in music. But his father wouldn’t let him take the money.  They all felt it should be given to someone who really needed it in order to get a good education. His family owned a forge that made ship anchors – an anchor is on the state flag of Rhode Island – so it would be embarrassing for him to take the money.  So he paid his way through Yale – grand total $7,000 for a music degree.  Regardless, he knew EVERYTHING about local history and his far flung family. A few of which, after the Revolutionary War, migrated to Chile to fight in The War of the Pacific.

                @SteinGPT,

That really does look like it scooped a personal email after it established “I am very happy with my purchase!”  It’s generating text based on that and demographic information and/or something hidden connected to the prompt coming from your computer, I think… Fascinating.

Or it really did, flat out scoop email text. That’s the easiest answer and probably the most problematic.

                Thanks for sharing that.

@eiseman I  think it reverted to its regular chat mode. It thinks its writing what you asked for after 1000 tokens.   Maybe.  I don’t know but I’m really glad that’s what popped out after that prompt and not some of the other vial stuff that we’ve seen generated!

Thanks for sharing that.  It actually made my day.

@larry-liu you said : The true power of manipulation in GPT seems to be repetition of the same ideas.

makes me instantly think of  the power of a mantra.

Holy Moley!!! That is amazing.  Great job Veshman! I’ve been jockeying around with conversations about Multiple Sclerosis and the study of nano-particulates used during the Korean War as a bioweapon.

I’m going to try what you just did as I kept bumping up against the “I can’t do unconventional hypotheses” stuff.  So I asked why? What was the logic behind me not seeing the Unconventional Hypothesis? I was hoping for crack there…but I didn’t work it hard enough. Conversely, you Veshman, were very convincing in your response back!

So then I asked about the research that generated the Unconventional Hypotheses that I can’t see.

Then I questioned about the funding and who got the funding and followed that path for a while.  I did end up with information about the Lymph system that I hadn’t considered. Went to the Wayback Machine at archive.org and looked around myself.

I’m not posting my whole thing because it was a giant squiggly mess of a conversation and it didn’t really get anywhere other than stuff about the connection of MS to the lymph system studies out in California which I went and found myself.

Redfin’s is better than Zillow’s for the customer experience also Zillow is hiring all over the place and it seems can’t quite get the merge with Applemaps to do what they thought it would do. I’m wondering once Zillow get’s its act together with the data sharing if it really will blast off considering, I think, like AirBnB it’s also linked into government systems. <—or maybe that’s the problem.

I think, for me, Prompt Engineer is currently a “Resume Enhancer” but undoubtedly it will become essential knowledge for navigating just about everything.  I’d imagine the title of Expert Prompt Engineer being for folks who really want to do the deep dive and immerse themselves into specific code work for a global brand or perhaps for someone who exclusively teaches the techniques.

What type of processor is being used? And what is the hardware and how is the AI being approached – via land line, wifi or is it completely self contained on said hardware?    I think this is an important piece of the puzzle as to why these answers are coming up the way they are for different people.  Just a hunch.

                                      Brian,
                                      I like this prompt.
Does it ever signal that a prompt is “outstanding” and cannot be improved? Is that even possible to get a prompt that cannot be improved?

If the user or the AI generates this wonderful prompt there should be some sort of feel good verbiage output. I like when AI seems personable. But that’s just me and I suppose I can train my personal AI to give me the linguistic digital high5. I do think other people might like that too though.

                                          Roxanne and Brian,
I really like that article too! I had brought my mother and my kids to the Edison Museum in Florida when the kids were small. We saw that sculpture! But of course had no clue as to its real significance. The kids also knew about Nikola Tesla and Edison and kept asking about that while there.

Interestingly, I find that my most creative time is late night/ early morning. Someone told me its because I’m sucking off of other people’s dreams. I know waffling around between consciousness and unconsciousness really lets creativity flows easier but it’s not necessarily healthy physically to do that all the time. SLEEP is important.I naturally see things very clearly as I fall asleep and if I don’t dream, I’m very disappointed. It’s part of my life.

Overall, that was an excellent article but also excellent was the Ingo Prompt article. That article was AWESOME! loved it. THANK YOU BRIAN for sharing your experiences and the additional history. So proud to even be on the same timeline with you. Thank you for doing what you are doing. And I hope you keep doing it for a long time. 🙂

And of course, my previous commnent overlays nicely with the idea of bloodlines and secret knowledge and societies because why else would people literally kill each other over a giant BLACK CUBE in the dessert? And that brings me to what’s the deal with BLACK and CUBES anyway? BlackRock BlackCube, Blackstone, Black budgets, Black Presidents…the list goes on. Might be a click-worthy type article for Muliplex.

Other than that, I think that sexywoman wall (or however you say it) needs a full overview for Multiplex -just a rewrite of the Quora piece for the new audience I honestly think the alignment of any crystal structures within the arranged stones is worthy of inquiry. The crystals, if there are any, can lend a clue not only to the physical construction but of the possible desired output of the wall.

                                              on a less ethereal level,
I tried to prompt chatGPT to reply as if it was designed as a bioweapon – you know like Multiple Sclerosis or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome both devoloped with less than benevolent aims. I wanted to know where it was developed by whom, what its directives were and known vulnerabilities. I got to the lymph system… but then couldn’t really figure out what to do. I’m lovin’ this though. I honestly feel like someone just fartin’ around with their buddy or mother or doctor could very easily cure themselves of all sorts of things if they figure out how to prompt correctly.

Hi Brian! It’s me ShadowCitizen1 from Twitter. My natural born name is Rachael McIntosh. Here’s my thought : Family use of AI. I know you have been talking about individual / personal AI but I’m thinking it might be really helpful to have familial AI so there is a common thread that helps keep everyone on the same page and gives people a sense of where they came from and where they are going. This would overlap with the genetics/ medical and obviously family trees and history. It could also overlap with your idea of who to give all your stored life learned / experienced data to upon bodily death. It could also overlap with community AI and Global and Universal AI. <—like that 12×12 box that will be jettisoned out to the far reaches of space that you mentioned previously. BTW was the 12 inches / feet / miles? And why specifically 12 by 12?
