Brian thank you for this I built a whole course and marketing plus sales plan for ChatGPT for Accountants: Mastering AI in Accounting. This would normally take me a month to do and I would never get to the quality shown. Now the fun part building it with ChatGPT and then putting it into operation
Hi my name is Grant and I am a lawyer and founded a few tech companies that deliver legal document automation and now playing around with AI to break the legal game. I am fascinated by the new and lived through the dot com and social media era which were exciting but nothing like this. AI blows me away to see an alien intelligence that, although I am a 9.5 out of ten in my specialised fields, humbles me and takes me back to 4 out of ten. I laugh when I see how they want to license or legislate AI? Old thinking.
I question the dark and foreboding prognostications by our elites on the dangers of AI and not the wonders. I have seen it help in so many ways and should we be scared about something that is way smarter than us. That is what they are scared of and the concern is that only licensed AI – that is owned and trained by an oligopoly or group will be able to be used. Well we saw how that has gone over the last decade with social media. I love the private AI work you are doing as it is so renegade but also liberating as it puts the power in our hands not those who believe they have control.
We can see it with the artists the positive side where they live on eternally and the negative where their identity is stolen. I have built a Will and Living Trust whereby a designated beneficiary is given the rights to a deceased’s Likeness. The law will eventually grant copyright to a Likeness so we need to assume all legal documentation as if it happens.
As for AI, if we don’t come up with self regulation and use common law others will make the law for us. And we don’t want it to be those who don’t understand or if we let it go too long – AI itself as you have shown in historical reference to Collosus.
It took me a little while to coax it out and had to get into my kit bag of NLP tricks which is more direct than Hypnosis but asked for an induction at night that will get me up and out of bed charged with enthusiasm. This took three deep dives to get it but love it and will record tonight with some binaural beats and see what happens.
