Dopeee prompt man whattt
Hi guys,
Dan Linden here.
Nice to meet everyone.
Been an entrepreneur for the last 12 years doing digital marketing, digital info products, etc.
Built some companies.
Wrote some books.
Got burned out.
Just in time for last year with the rise of A.I.
Found Brian when I was starting Twitter, and he showed me what prompt engineering really is.
Truly grateful because it lit a fire, and I am in his debt for that. Now, I’m building ChiefAiOfficer.com with a team and a biz partner who rocks.
We just hired two more people on board this week, so I’m super pumped.
We are setting up a conference in November, likely in Dallas, and will be marketing towards corporate types centered around work, productivity, C-suite, etc. More to come over the next two weeks regarding specifics.
I’ll be at the Maicon A.I. conf in Cleveland at the end of July if anyone wants to meet.
@dantheprompt – if you ever want to message me on Twitter
Thanks, and it’s truly an honor to be a part of this forum.
We (this forum) are the people that will change the world and bring A.I. to the masses.
Ooo Ill check tesla coils out – sounds cool.
I think predator/prey will stay like that and completely agree with you about the rules and regs saying “sure” then doing whatever
did I miss something with the marriage thing? I’m not super detailed oriented so not sure who’s marrying whom..
Anyways congrats!
Also in my op and I know it’s been said –
Prompt engineering is a requirement for students in less than two years but it may not be called prompt engineering.
Maybe programming with words ;P
Either way I think right now prompt engineering, as it’s called in the context as we know it, will be relevant for the next two years and then breaks up into niches –
Digital artist – prompt engineer
Programming prompt engineer
etc.Just me thinking out loud
wow just made one yesterday and posted it on twitter because I keep getting lucid dreams (honestly not that fun) so made a SP to interpret them.
Does a decent job but I think the ones above are betterBrian’s GPT4all, with its intelligent learning algorithms, represents one of the closest current approaches to such large-scale machine learning, akin to the capabilities utilized by major industry players.
There are certainly challenges involved, particularly when it comes to processing vast amounts of text data and accumulating it without labor-intensive manual input. However, it seems Brian might be devising a solution to streamline this process.
To put it succinctly, the complete realization of your vision isn’t available right at this instant. Nevertheless, projecting a bit further into the future – possibly a year or so – such a prospect does seem plausible.
Please note, this is merely my interpretation and Brian would likely provide a more accurate assessment.
As for your secondary proposal of establishing a board of advisors, I comprehend your direction. The core debate seems to circle around Large Language Models (LLMs) versus chatbots. Though the end result may appear similar, the underlying mechanisms of the two are notably distinct.
LLMs, with their recursive learning capabilities, continually evolve and enhance their knowledge base. They could potentially be trained using your data from the outset.
Chatbots, on the other hand, would take your data and leverage models like ChatGPT as their intellectual core, enabling them to execute various analytical tasks.
In essence, querying ChatGPT can yield viewpoints grounded in a specific thought process. However, it would not ‘learn’ in the traditional sense due to its restricted memory capacity, which is more short-term.
Contrastingly, an LLM emphasizes long-term learning and adaptation but grapples with its own unique set of challenges, primarily concerning model control.
I hope this explanation brings clarity despite the somewhat fluid flow of my thoughts. Please do not hesitate to ask for further elucidation if needed.
Again I’m just a student – Brian is the master here
That is an interesting perspective, for sure. I love this forum.
I’ll add that adoption, besides the first movers, is usually much slower.
We are still throttled by
Robotics – as mentioned
Batteries – this isn’t exponential, and no one works in this area and it’s not a glorified/sexy field (includes charging speed, lifespan, cost
Hardware constraints – even though AI is making exponential progress for now, what we are seeing may be more of a jump to, say, the smartphone from a flip phone.
Algo innovations – probably not, but we don’t know.
Regulations and data – we’re talking about widespread adoption so this will bottle neck it.I remember in class in 1992 a scholastic magazine saying by 2000
a. we would have a moon base for sure.
b. we would have flying cars. Not being negative, just looking back on history this seems to be more setting expectations
mesh network – I think you mean swarm intelligence
<p style=”text-align: right;”>Absolutely interested. Msg me on twitter @dantheprompt or dan@chiefaiofficer.com. Def interested in SaaS and some other things</p>

so awesome excited to be here at the beginning! thanks for creating this
This is a fantastic prompt . wow. thoroughly enjoyed it. I love Hesse. Siddhartha fave book of all time .
