I have been doing all types of expirements, both AI running things, and AI being leveraged through a pipeline of work. I used a lot of Brian’s work as a foundation. I haven’t in 6 weeks of working non-stop able to find one thing that works, but only pieces> I’m burnt out of 6 hours a sleep a night for 6 weeks, but I’ve learned a lot. Still a lot to learn. I have 1.5TB of a Mac Studio cluster and finding out, it’s not the power the cloud API’s provide easily. Just throttled a lot on cloud AI’s. so I leverage it to just run stuff constantly in my testing, but still vibe coding to get things put together quickly to protoype and test out the door, I rely on cloud API’s. I have to be very specific first on the app I’m building and then tell them to run a paper prototype. From there, the builds are usually better. But without very specific direction, vibe coding produces trash, and it’s completely unusable and causes a lot of rework.  AI Agents are absolutely stupid without very extremely clear work. leave it to them, they cut corners and skimp where they can, and don’t follow the rules in my experience.

I am in a similar situation with our kids. I worked in Apple Education for over 10 years as a technology project manager. I saw quite a bit in my time, and trying to provide my kids the right opportunities. My kids are ELL kids and had to just recently pull my son out of school because they won’t give him the support he needs to catch up in English as a middle school student. It’s very frustrating. Teachers just don’t care, and he’s not motivated because of it.
