The first steps are being taken by all of us and a handful of tech knowledgeable people like Brian, no one else is doing it nowadays as a service for the average street Joe. But nevertheless we will see it evolve as a shared community project within the next few years. I hope this keeps on going since LLMs and AI in general will be given to us from big tech with the usual twist of harvesting data and even set new limits on what we are to do in that new world.
I have been working in tech all my life but AI has become an obsession since ChatGPT came out, then I listened Brian being interviewed by Jordan Peterson… pretty mindblowing. I have done some programming to use ChatGPT for business using LangChain, then I saw the concepto of personal AI and have tested GPT4All digesting personal PDF, Text, Word and CSV files. This is looking great. I am looking forward to business cases where a local LLM is being used and what are the benefits.
